I created this beautifully designed Chiffon Soiree Shawl so I would have something to wear to this years CGOA Banquet Fashion Show…  Elegant, lace like work made this shawl perfect for a warm summer evening, yet beautifully catchy to get noticed by all of the wonderful crochet artists that attended the event!

This would be perfect for any wedding, holiday party or soiree.  Easy to make and wear, you will be the belle of the ball!  Using Red Heart Swanky Yarn, this shimmery, sequined  pattern will catch the light and give a beautiful drape over your shoulders.

I like to wear light weight shawls where AC may be chilly. Thank you, thank you for sharing this lovely pattern. I have lt green yarn reserved for just such a shawl as this. I have WIP to finish, then the shawl.

  5. Hello! Another beautiful pattern I can’t wait to start! I have a book filled with your patterns that I want to do! Just a quick question, the yarn isn’t actually chiffon correct? It’s just the name of the color you used? Thanks!

  6. Beautiful !!!

  8. Hi Beatrice, Is it possible that you could draw up a quick diagram or a YouTube video?
All the * (asterisks) are confusing me and I am having trouble being sure my stitches are on the right place and I’m doing the right amounts of chains, etc.
I am only on Row 3. Please and thank you.

  9. Are there any yarn substitution recommendations you could make? Thank you, lovely shawl.

  10. The pattern confused me as well for the astericks, what is helping me is to be paying attention to the main original photo to try to figure out what it was supposed to look like, then it all made sense to me.

Thank you for the time to create this beautiful piece!!!! I have never made clothing before and I am making it for my best friends wedding as a shawl cover up. I am thrilled she loves it so much as much as I do and I have found a few other patterns I want to try my hand at as well, This is becoming super addicting
