Book Review and Giveaway!!!!

Wraps For All Seasons

andees

If you have followed me for long… You know I love to collect great crochet books!!  I have written many reviews over the last couple of years for All Free Crochet and other crochet sites..

When my dear friend Andee Graves asked me if I would like to check out her newly released crochet pattern booklet, I jumped at the chance!  Andee has been a crochet designer for many years and has so many beautiful patterns; I was so excited to have a chance to browse through her latest publication… Wraps For All Season!  It combines 4 of my favorite things, Yarn, Crochet, Wraps and Andee… This fabulous booklet is published by Annie’s Crochet and features 6 different designs.

Annie’s Crochet was kind enough to send me a copy to drool over… And even better~ they will be sending a copy of this awesome book to one of my fans!!  You could be the lucky winner… Just read how you can enter at the bottom of this post!!

You can purchase this in paperback or Kindle download… Check it out!

So, now a little about Wraps For All Season…

Six magnificent designs, each one a different shape, size, style and technique.  If you were to ask me which one was my favorite design, it would be so hard to choose. I wear wraps very frequently, I live in an area where the temperature varies and my “daytime job” as a purchasing agent for a forest products company means I am out in the plant, going between buildings and sitting at my desk… Layering is a must and I love to show off my crochet… I think I may have to make every one of these patterns!  But, the Frosty Mornings Crescent Shawl on page 16 has drawn me in and will be my first project!! Feminine and elegant, this pattern will surely draw attention!!  The Autumn Days Shawlette page 10 would be perfect for the current season! Even though the Summer Seaside Shaw page 7  sounds like it’s for warmer weather… It is a larger shawl and the edging is magnificent… I would wear this one year round!! It just so happens the Hint of Spring wrap page 2 is my favorite color scheme… I would love to use the same yarn and keep this one at work!  The Sassy Spring Wrap page 5 simply puts a smile on my face!! Lastly but of course not least, the Winterfall Ruana on page 13 is something I have always wanted to make… full coverage and versatile!

As usual, this Annie’s Booklet has great pictures, clear print, a great stitch guide and photo tutorial of the stitches used in the back of the book.  This will be a great addition to my Crochet Book Library!!  I hope you will make this your newest edition to your collection too!!

  51. Hi Elena, I always love Annie’s products, be it patterns, books, supplies, or whatever, and this looks like a good one as usual. I love all kinds of wraps & shawls & own several. Even tho I live in the south and we have a short winter, I will never again wear a coat other than a raincoat – instead I’ll wear my wraps, shawls, scarves, headbands, hats, well, you get the idea, lol, because they’re so much more comfortable, prettier, less bulky & confining, and I’ll enjoy my handiwork when wearing them! I make a lot of lighter weight pieces for warmer temps but when I like a pattern, I make it no matter what! Thx for the review and giveaway! ๐Ÿ™‚

  54. A shawl for every season is right up my crochet alley. I don’t wear them much myself, but I find them so comforting to make that I keep stitching and find homes for them. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be Summer Seaside for the delicate edging and use of a plant-fiber based yarn.
