Materials ~

Yarn:  534 Yards of Super Bulky Yarn – Pictured here in Red Heart Evermore in  Emerald Isle

Hook:  N Hook

Stitches ~

St – Stitch     Ch – Chain     Sk – Skip     Sl St – Slip Stitch     Sc – Single Crochet      Dc – Double Crochet

Slant Shell – Ch 3, 3dc in same st.

Size ~

12″ x 90″

Crochet Evermore Wrap Free Pattern

Instructions ~

Ch 182

Row 1:  Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across. = 181 sc

Row 2:  Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. = 181 sc

Row 3:  Ch 1, turn, sc in 1st st, *ch 3, sk 3 sts, sc in next st*, repeat *to* across. = 46 sc & 45 ch3 sps

Row 4:  Ch 3, turn, 3 dc in same st, *sl st in next sc, ch 3, 3 dc in same st*, repeat *to* 44 more times. = 45 slant shells

Row 5:  Ch 6, turn,*sk next 3 dcs, sc in top of next ch 3, ch 3*, repeat *to* 44 more times, sk next 3 dc, sc in top of last ch 3. = 45 ch 3 & 46 sc

Row 6:   Ch 3, turn, 3 dc in same st, *sl st in next sc, ch 3, 3 dc in same st*, repeat *to* 44 more times ending with a sc in the 3rd ch of the ch 6. = 45 slant shells

Rows 7 & 8:   Repeat rows 5 & 6

Row 9:  Repeat row 5

Row 10: Ch 1, turn, sc in 1st st, * 3 sc in next ch 3 sp, sc in next sc*, repeat *to* 44 more times ending with sc in 3rd ch of the ch 6. = 181 sc

Row 11:  Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. = 181 sc

Rows 12-20:  Repeat rows 3-11

Row 21:  Ch 1, turn, loosely sl st in each st across. = 181 sl st

Finish off and weave in ends

Make end tassels –

Cut 10 – 8″ lengths of yarn, take 5 lengths and fold them in half. Pull folded strands through the middle st of one end of the wrap at the end of the row. Pull ends of strands through folded section and pull tight forming a tassel. Repeat on opposite end.

  1. I love this scarf and can’t wait to make it. However I did some research to find this yarn online (none of the stores near me sells it) and this type of yarn comes in skeins that are 89 yds. So for this pattern I would need 6 skeins!! Yikes, it ends up being a pricey scarf. I’ll keep an eye out for bulky or clearance yarn. Thanks for sharing the pattern because it is so gorgeous I can’t stop thinking about making it!!

  2. Love the pattern, love the colors of the yarn, but not the yarn itself….. I’m allergic to wool, so I’m just gonna look for a different bulky yarn. Thanks for sharing the pattern!
