I love afghan crochet alongs!!! This year(the 6th annual) our Crochet with Me!! So here is the skinny on this project.. It is 12 weeks of crocheting, each weeks link is posted for safe keeping in the Crochet with Me!! tab at the top of the page…  You start with the Material List  .. Lots of great details about how the CAL works and the great Grand Prize Giveaway from our friends at Red Heart Yarns!!

This weeks stitches:

  • St – Stitch
  • Sl St – Slip Stitch
  • Ch – Chain
  • Sk – Skip
  • Sc – Single Crochet
  • Trc – Treble Crochet

This Week’s Size:

36″ x 45″ smoothed, but not stretched

*This week we will be only working on the Right Side(side with texture).. No turning

Join Color C in the righthand long side corner stitch

Round 32: Ch 4(counts as trc), 8 trc in same st, sk 2 sts, sc in next st, sk 2 sts, *7trc in next st, sk 3 sts, sc in next st, sk 3 sts*, repeat *to* 12 more times, 7 trc in next st, sk 2 sts, sc in next st, sk 2 sts, 9 trc in next st, sk 3 sts, sc in next st, sk 3 sts, repeat *to* 10 times, 9 trc in next st, sk 2 sts, sc in next st, sk 2 sts, repeat *to* 13 times, 7 trc in next st, sk 2 sts, sc in next st, sk 2 sts, 9 trc in next st, sk 3 sts, sc in next, sk 3 sts, repeat *to* 10 times, join to top of the beginning ch 4. = 4-9trc, 48- 7trc, 52 sc

Finish off

Join color B in the righthand long side corner stitch

Join color A in the righthand long side corner stitch

  1. I love this pattern. I really like the dimensions because I do a lot of baby blankets and lap Afghan so the full size afghans are too big. Would appreciate (if possible) future patterns to include these sizes. Thanks for your consideration.
