This sweet blanket pictured above if made in cotton yarn, but soft acrylic yarn would be great too!! It measures 32″ x 36″.

Materials

Cotton or Acrylic Yarn (pictured above is cotton yarn) 550 Yards White Cotton Yarn, 100 Yards each of Purple, Lime Green, Tangerine and 150 Yards of  Aqua.

Premier Yarns  Craft-Tee Recycled T-Shirt Yarn, Super Bulky,  275-300 yards.  Pictured above in Light Green Shades, Red Shades, White Shades and Light Blue Shades.

*You can also use  1 1/2″ – 2″ strips of cotton fabric.  You will need approximately 11 yards of fabric that is 44″ wide.

**Tips**

Use a loose and even tension.  Sew tails down with thread and needle as you work and crochet over the top of them after tacked down.

Tips ~

You will be changing colors every row after row 2.

You will be using the Magic Circle technique to start each square.  If you need a tutorial Click Here for a great video tutorial from my friend Moogly!

When working the Fpdc, Sc sequences, be very careful not to miss any stitches.  This can be tricky until you get the hang of it.

Instructions ~

Begin with a Magic Circle.

Row 1:  Ch 1, Sc 8 into the center of the circle. Join with Sl St and tighten your circle. = 8 Sc
