Sunburst Coaster’s & Snow!

.

LAST NIGHT… I whipped up three sets of Sunburst Coasters to deliver to a little shop on main street…Alpine Originals has been one of those blessings in our little town for artists and crafter’s.  I have been privileged to sell a surprising amount of my crochet work over the last 2 years!

This would be a great day to sit by the fire and crochet…But… I have to work…I have a roast in the crock-pot for later tonight so I can get back to work on my Sunburst Granny Square Blanket…I might need a new warm blanket in this kind of weather!

Winter Wonderland!

Winter Wonderland!

.

.

I am so blessed to live in such a beautiful area.  I was born here in this small mountain community and came back to raise my family where I grew up.  It didn’t change much in the 25 years I was away… still only a couple stop lights… friendly people and tons of great outdoor activities.

.

I work for a small Internet company and each day I have the joy of walking to the bank and post office, getting a bit of fresh air and sunshine ( or snow).. occasionally stopping by one of the cute shops in town.  I have a great view of Mt. Shasta from my desk… and almost anywhere I go in town, including home I can soak in the beauty of our area!

Last night we watched SKYFALL… Great movie and Daniel Craig is a dream!  A little action… a little tragedy… and some great views of let’s just say… alot of people (007) and places (cool Estate called Skyfall).
