This fun and whimsical Berry Blitz Infinity Scarf is super easy to make using the Berry Stitch!  Easy repeats and one skein of yarn, you can whip this free crochet pattern up in just one weekend… Great trip project too!  If you love to crochet like I do.. This is going to be one of my favorite go to project for the season!!!

Materials:

Yarn ~ 280 yards of worsted weight yarn… Pictured here in Red Heart With Love in Boysenberry.

Hook ~ H

Scissors

Yarn Needle

Size:

52″ x 6″

Stitches:

St ~ Stitch

Ch ~ Chain

Sl St ~ Slip Stitch

Sc ~ Single Crochet

Rev Sc ~ Reverse Single Crochet

Fsc ~ Foundation Single Crochet

Bs ~ Berry Stitch (Insert hook in st, draw up loop, ch 3, draw yarn through both loops on hook.)

Instructions:

*Leave 4″ tail in beginning for securing round 1

Round 1:  142 Fsc. Join with sl st to beginning st. Be very careful not to twist round when joining. = 142 fsc

Round 2 & 3:  Ch 1, turn, sc in each st around, join with sl st to beginning sc. = 142 sc

Round 4:  Ch 1, turn, sc in 1st st, bs in next st, *sc in next st, bs in next st*, repeat *to* around, join with sl st to beginning sc. = 71 sc & 71 bs

Round 5:  Ch 1, turn, sc in each st around, join with sl st to beginning st. = 142 sc

Round 6:  Ch 1, turn, bs in 1st st, sc in next st, *bs in next st, sc in next st*, repeat *to* around, join with sl st to beginning st. (your bs should be offset from the bs’s in round 4) = 71 bs & 71 sc

Round 7: Repeat round 5

Round 8:  Repeat round 4

Round 9:  Repeat round 5

Round 10:  Repeat round 6

Rounds 11-13:  Repeat round 5

Rounds 14-23: Repeat rounds 4-13

Round 24:  Ch 1, rev sc around, join with sl st to beginning. = 142 rev sc.

Finish off

Using 4″ tail from beginning, secure round 1.

Round 25:  Join yarn to any st in round 1, Ch 1, rev sc around, join with sl st to beginning.

Finish off

Weave ends in.

That’s it… You now have a Berry Blitz Infinity Scarf!!!

Materials:

Yarn~ 2 colors of bulky #5 yarn 132 yards each. Photographed in Red Heart Hygge Yarn in  Color A: Slate Blue and Color B: Pearl.

Size:

33″ around x 8″ Height

Gauge:

Double Crochet 3″ x 3″ = 8 stitches x 4 rows

Stitches: 

St – Stitch

Sp – Space

Sl St – Slip Stitch

Ch – Chain

Sk – Skip

Dc – Double Crochet

Fpdc – Front Post Double Crochet

Rev Sc – Reverse Single Crochet

Cl – Cluster: Yo, insert hook in designated st or sp, draw up loop, Yo, draw through 2 loops, Yo, insert in st or sp, pull up loop, Yo,  draw through 3 loops, Yo, draw through 2 loops, ch 1, Yo, insert in st or sp,  pull up loop, Yo, draw through 2 loops, Yo, insert in st or sp, pull up loop, Yo, draw through 3 loops, Yo, draw through 2 loops.

Tips:

*By joining around instead of in the top of the beginning sts, you will make them shape into a fpdc.

*Carry your yarn up the hat when changing colors

*When changing colors, join with the next color in the joining st

*You will be working in the round

Instructions:

Ch 80, Join with sl st to form a ring. Be very carful not to twist your chain.

Color A

Round 1:  Ch 3(counts as dc now and throughout), *sk st, cluster in next st, sk st, dc in next st*, repeat *to* around. Join with sl st(using next color) “around” beginning ch 3. = 20 dc & 20 clusters

Color B

Round 2:  Ch 3, *cluster in ch 1 sp of previous row cluster, fpdc around next fpdc of previous round*, Repeat *to* around, cluster in last ch 1 sp, join with sl st(using next color) “around” beginning ch 3. = 20 fpdc & 20 clusters.

Rounds 3-13: Repeat round 2, changing colors every round.

Edging:

Round 1: Ch 1, work rev sc around, join with sl st to beginning. Finish off

Round 2: Join with sl st in any st of beginning ch on opposite end. Ch 1, rev sc around, join with sl st to beginning. Finish off.

That’s it.. Congratulations, you now have a Wildwood Waves Cowl!

Materials:

Yarn ~ 880 yards sport weight ombre yarn.  I used Rico Creative Wool Degrade in Teal.  You can use any brand of cake style ombre yarn.

Hook ~ J
Scissors

Size:

86″ x 16″ after  blocking

Stitches: 

St- Stitch

Sp – Space

Ch – Chain

Sk – Skip

Fsc – Foundation Single crochet

Sc – Single Crochet

Dc – Double Crochet

Trc – Triple Crochet

X St – Sk st, Trc in next st, Trc in previously sk st

Instructions:

188 Fsc – Tutorial provided by my friend Moogly!

Row 1:  Ch 1, turn, sc in 1st two st, *(sc, dc) in next st, sk st*, repeat *to* 91 more times, sk st, sc in last 2 sts. = 4 sc and 92(sc, dc)

Rows 2-12: Ch 1, turn, sc in 1st two sts, *sk st, (sc, dc) in next st (this will be in the previous rows sc), repeat *to* 91 more times, sc in last 2 sts. = 4 sc & 92 (sc, dc)

Row 13:  Ch 4(counts as trc now and throughout), trc in next st, X st 92 times, trc in last 2 sts. = 4 trc and 92 X sts

Row 14: Repeat row 1

Rows 15-25: repeat rows 2-12

Row 26: Repeat row 14

Row 27: Repeat row 1

Rows 28-38: Repeat rows 2-12

Edging:

Turn and work down the end of rows

Row 1: Ch 1, work 40 sc evenly across the end of rows. = 40 sc

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in st, *ch 3, sk 2 sts, sc in next st*, repeat *to* across. = 14 sc and 13 ch 3 spcs

Row 3: Ch 1, turn, sc in st, *(dc, 3trc, dc) in ch 3 sp, sc in next st*,  repeat *to* across. = 14 sc and 13(dc, 3trc, dc)

Finish off.

Repeat rows 1-3 on opposite end.

Finish off

Block into shape.
