If you decided to join me for 2 more weeks of this Sugar Wheel Baby Blanket Crochet Along, I am so excited you did!!  At week 3 that would be the original baby blanket size, but I decided this time I wanted to make mine more like an adult throw!  So I added 2 optional weeks for this CAL.  To find all of the instructions for this CAL, you can CLICK HERE or go to the top of the page to Crochet With Me, Crochet Along…

Lazy Daze Lawn Chair Cover

If you love this Free Crochet Pattern.. Save it to your Ravelry queue… Click here!!

Lazy Daze Lawn Chair Cover… This simple chevron pattern is made using Bernat Maker Outdoor Yarn.  This awesome yarn is available in JoAnn Craft Stores and comes in Solid or Self-Striping bright colors.  It is fade and mold resistant and I really loved the way this yarn worked up… It is soft and cushy!!!

If you have old or uncomfortable lawn chairs, this is the perfect project to make your Summer space fun and bright!!

Let’s get started…

Materials:

Yarn ~ For each chair cover you will need 2 skeins of Bernat Maker Outdoor Yarn(249 yards ea). I used Fresh Orange Stripes *Thank you to Yarnspirations for sending me this beautiful yarn to make and share this project!*

Hook ~ N

Scissors

Chair Cover Size:

16″ x 35″

Stitches:

St-Stitch

Sk-Skip

Ch-Chain

Dc-Double Crochet

X St – Sk st, dc in next st, dc in previous sk st.

Instructions:

Ch 48

Row 1:  Dc in 3rd ch from hook, *dc in next 6 sts, sk 2 sts, dc in next 6 sts, 3 dc in next st*, repeat *to* 1 more time, dc in next 6 sts, sk 2 sts, dc in next 6 sts, 2 dc in last st. = 46 dc

Row 2:  Ch 2(counts as dc now and throughout), dc in same st, *3 X sts, sk 2 sts, 3 X sts, 3 dc in next st*, repeat *to* 1 more time, 3 X sts, sk 2 sts, 3 X sts, 2 dc in last st. = 18 X sts & 10 dc

Rows 3 – 38: Repeat row 2.

Finish off

Cut 5 – 6″ pieces . Tie the Lazy Day chair cover on using  3 at the top in each point and 2 on the bottom 2 corners.

That’s it!!!  You now have a Lazy Daze Lawn Chair Cover… Make as many as you want!!!
