Charity Crochet and Friday Night Crochet-A-Long Fun…

Ahhhh,,, The weekend!! I love Fridays… It means I will have two days off from work and get to focus on Crochet for some true therapy!! This week I shared some pattern reviews and mentioned the hats that were made for the review would be going to charity… Each month I participate in ELK Studio From The Heart Charity Drive… Kathy Lashley founded this group several months ago. She has a Godly Heart and always is helping others!! She also is an excellent Crochet Designer… You can check out her designs at ELK Studio Handcrafted Crochet Designs…

This month our group is sending our donated Crochet Items to the Hosanna Home…Hosanna Home is simply what it says: A home, where we welcome in women with life controlling issues. We help them get their feet back on solid ground physically, spiritually and emotionally.

Tomorrow we start our first section of the Afghan… I will be posting the pattern directions in the morning and can’t wait for you to get started too… So to kick off our CAL… Tonight on Facebook we will have our first “Show and Tell”… You may be wondering what we will show and tell… Tonight we will share our yarn… At 4:00 EST I will have a post on Facebook that says Show and Tell… In the comment section,,, Shout out your yarn you are using and/or post a picture…. Wednesday Facebook Fan Favorite… Week 22

This week we have another great Free Crochet Hat Pattern as our weekly Facebook Fan Favorite!!!! This hat was one I reviewed earlier this week and totally fell in love with!!! The one I made will be headed to a charity later this week along with several other items… This Free Crochet Hat pattern was one of the largest Fan Favorites so far!!!

Each day I feature a free crochet pattern that I have found during my internet browsing… You can see past segments in my Photo Album titled the same over on Facebook! Here is this weeks Facebook Fan Favorite….

The pattern is written in Italian… But also has a graph and English directions! I am not clear if they wrote this pattern or translated it from another site… The pattern is made of basic stitches and was very easy for an intermediate crocheter! The only problem I ran into was… They left out the directions for rows 11-14… It was simple for me to figure out by looking at the hat that we were just going to repeat the 9 & 10 two more times and then continue to the directions for rows 15-20… The nice thing about this hat was… It turned out exactly like the picture and I love it!! If you want to make this hat don’t shy away because of the multi language directions… The English version is typed in red and easy to see… and if you remember to repeat rows 9 & 10 for the missing directions you will have no problem if you are a beginner! Sunday Afternoon Crochet…What’s on your hook??

Today I am finalizing our Crochet-A-Long week one pattern section!! I took the pictures and have been typing up the instructions for the first week… I can’t wait!!!
