Hug A Friend Square.. Free Crochet Pattern!!

Hug A Friend Square.. Free Crochet Pattern!!

Recently, many of my fellow Red Heart Joy Creators got together to make a beautiful afghan for our friend Allison from Red Heart Yarns… Each of us designed a 12″ square and then we sent them off to a team member to join them. This lovely afghan was then given to Allison for a fun wedding gift! I love being a part of the Red Heart Yarns Joy Creators… one reason is because we all love to crochet, And this was one of our first group activities.. Below are all the details and picture so you can make this sampler too!

The Hug a Friend Square is a fun and whimsical 12″ square, made using Chic Sheep Yarn in 3 colors… I hope you enjoy making it too, because this was one of my favorite blocks in my free pattern library! I was so busy trying to get my square shipped off to join the others.. I only got one shot.. so sorry the picture isn’t perfect!

If you love this square.. Add it to your Ravelry queue and favorites!.. Click here…

You can choose to make several of my squares and join them in a beautiful afghan.. Or follow along with this unique Wedding Square CAL… Each week there are 2 squares posted(Friday and Monday) and in the end the joining and edging will be provided, I love all my fellow Joy Creator’s Squares.. Please check them out!! … Click here for the Wedding Square CAL…

Allison finished Wedding Square Afghan by the Red Heart Joy Creators… Mine is second from bottom left!
