Welcome to the Crochet With Me… Winter 2016 Crochet-A-Long!!! This week we will be gathering our materials and preparing to start our 2016 Afghan!! I’m so excited you will be joining in the fun!!

This is a Mystery Afghan… It will unfold as we make it!!
Each week over the next 12 weeks I will post a section of the afghan we all will complete together… Don’t worry!! I work full-time and only have a few hours a week to work on my project, so my instructions will be easy to follow and easy to keep up with the groups pace!! If you are wondering how you join this Crochet-A-Long, all you need to do is check back each Saturday evening for the next post. I loved seeing what you all voted for in the polls for this years Crochet With Me… Winter 2016 Crochet-A-Long!! The winning yarn was Red Heart With Love… It is a great worsted weight yarn that is soft, washable and easy to work with!! Best of all it is on sale now at JoAnn if you like to shop at that fabulous craft store!!
This afghan will be approximately 70″Long x 65″ Wide.
Your will need approximately 3600 yards total of Red Heart With Love Yarn. This Afghan can be made in a monotone style or using 2-3 colors. Instructions will be for both. You can use any worsted weight yarn you desire, but the end result may turn out slightly different depending on the yarn. It is best to use a main color and one or two accent colors….
I will be using Red Heart With Love ~ 3 Skeins of Boysenberry, 3 Skeins of Peacock and 5 Skeins of Eggshell. Since this project is being made as we do this Crochet-A-Long, I am only able to estimate the amount of each I will be using.
I will be using a J Hook… We will be going over the gauge next week along with starting our first few rows of our projects…
