Sunday Afternoon Crochet…What’s on your hook??

Today I am finalizing our Crochet-A-Long week one pattern section!! I took the pictures and have been typing up the instructions for the first week… I can’t wait!!! I hope you will be joining in,,, This will be so much fun!!! I have chosen Vanna’s Choice Yarn to make mine.. I am loving it!!! Do you have your yarn and what are you using for this CAL??

The first pattern section will be posted next Saturday morning right here… So stay tuned!!! Here is another peek at one of the blocks I made…

Beatrice Ryan Designs,,, Crochet-A-Long… Are you ready??

Just a few more days to go and our hooks will all be working on a new fabulous project!!!! Next Saturday (the 18th) I will post the first segment of the pattern for our Crochet-A-Long… This is a Free Crochet Pattern to all participants and the only requirement is that you have FUN! Thanks to all of you who voted for our Viewers Choice Crochet-A-Long!!! I was excited you chose an Afghan!! I have designed it, crocheted the first section and have written it for next Saturday!!!

If you haven’t done a Crochet-A-Long before… This is how it will work!…..

1.You can find the Materials List already posted in the Crochet-A-Long tab at the top of the page. As well as each weekly pattern post!

2.Each Saturday I will post the weekly segment of the pattern that you will complete by the next Friday.

3.Friday Evenings we will have Show and Tell on my Facebook Page… You can post comments and pictures on the designated Pinned Post on Facebook.

4.You can Join in on Ravelry in my CAL Group for more fun and discussions…

5.And… I have an official Pinterest Page where we can post and pin our CAL pictures!!! Beatrice Ryan Designs CAL 2014

6.One last thing… We will be having a vote at the end to name this afghan!!! So stay tuned and let’s have some fun!!!

Oh… And would you like a peak at Week One??? Shhhhhh…. Yes we begin with a Granny! But, that is just the beginning!! Lots of design elements and fun,,, I can’t wait for you to see how this design turns out!!

Wednesday Facebook Fan Favorite… Week 21

As the Arctic Vortex whips through the United States and freezes a large part of our country, many of us are crocheting to pass the time while we are trying to stay warm…What a way to start the new year!!!! Today’s Facebook Fan Favorite it the first one for the year and it will keep you cozy in this chilly weather! This design is from one of my favorite designers,,, Bonita Patterns… She is famous for her Crocodile Stitch projects and I have made several of her patterns! This is a free one from her and well worth checking out!!! So here it is… Our first Fan Favorite for the year… Reversible Textured Slouch & Crocodile Stitch DOUBLE LAYERED Flower by Bonita Patterns! Don’t you love this hat?? I do and the flower is made from her signature Crocodile Stitch Pattern!!! This will definitely be on my to-do a list for this year!!.

On another note…. Are you ready for our Crochet-A-Long??? If you missed my last post containing the Material List… You can Click Here to see it… And at any time you can click on the Crochet-A-Long tab at the top of the page to see all the posts for this upcoming project… Each Saturday starting January 18th I will begin to post a pattern section for a weeks worth of crochet… And every Friday Evening we will have a “Show and Tell” on my Facebook page where you can post your comments and progress pictures!!! And,,, Hang out on Ravelry too… We have a large group of you who have joined over there… It will be another great place to hang out and crochet!! I am beyond excited!! I have written and crocheted the first weeks section and will be taking the pictures this weekend…
