Today is another milestone!  I finally got my nerve up to open an Etsy Store!  I have wanted to try opening one for quite a while, but the thought of it was a little overwhelming!  Getting to know my friend Kathy over at Elk Studio Handcrafted Crochet Design was really inspiring… I have watched her recently publish a beautiful Southern and Sassy Hat Pattern (You really need to check it out!) and checked out her Etsy sight… So, I dug in and opened mine… Click here to see BeatriceRyanDesigns new Etsy Shop!!!!!

Owl Art

Last night,,, After attending a great birthday party for my best friend (Lots of Laughs and Great Food!),,, I had just a little bit of free time… Hmmm… What should I do???    Well, of course I crocheted!  I only have a couple more days to finish anything I want to display in the Artwalk…  So,,, Something quick, simple and very cute!  An Owl Hat!  I found this pattern at one of my very favorite blogs Repeat Crafter Me.  She has so many cute patterns,  make sure to check out her site!  She just posted her latest pattern for a Zebra Hat… It is so great!

So I whipped up one of these hats last night and as usual I love this sweet hat!

Patriotic Crochet

Patriotic, Whimsical and Crochet Art!!  Every year I crochet one of these beauties to sell at Alpine Originals… They are always a hit!!  You may wonder why only one,,, If you crochet alot, after one it becomes a job and not creativity… So if I whip two out back to back,,, I don’t love the work quite as much…  It doesn’t take to long to make these,, maybe 5-6 hours… So here it is… Crochet Flag Rag Rug…Well,,, Wall hanging,,, We don’t walk on our flag!

This year since I am featured in the Artwalk at Alpine Originals in just a couple of weeks,,, I have started a second Decorative Flag… Yes, It is work,,, but I am hoping to spread the art of crochet!  My hook and hands will be very busy in the next couple weeks getting everything finished up so I can have a nice display… If you live close by make sure you come to the Artwalk on Friday June 28th!!

I will be working on the pattern over the next few months,, So stay tuned!  For now it is all locked up in my head!
