  1. Nice Poncho but could I please have a link to print the pattern?

    Thank you

    • Beatrice Ryan Designs

There is no link to download my free patterns. They are only available in full on the website. Some patterns have been converted to PDF’s for sale, but this one has not been converted yet

  2. Pfctpiemakersgirl

What I wouldn’t give for a YouTube video tutorial! Lol. I’m completely written pattern dyslexic Anderson can’t read one to save my life. =(
    Beautiful poncho!!!

  3. Please can I ask you to email me this pattern.

    Many thank.

  4. Someone may have already pointed this out, but there is an error in row 37. At the points you tc in the tc, then skip 3, then 11 tc in the next stitch. This should be skip 4 instead of three, as you had 9 tc in the center stitch on the previous round so if you don’ increase the skipped stitches it won’t come out right. Love the pattern. Working it up in Caron Cakes and it looks beautiful. Thank you!

  5. Can you explain how to make this plus size?

    • Beatrice Ryan Designs

This is a one size fits most and doesn’t have variations in size, but you can use a larger hook, or add rows with the same increase pattern you have used throughout the pattern

  6. This is the prettiest Poncho I have seen.I will try to make it .Thank you

  7. Hi there my name is Donna from New Brunswick Canada! Could you please be a bit more specific on how you did the border for me please. As I am not visual I always follow patterns. I would very very appreciate if you could go step-by-step with the border with me!
Thank you so much and advance!

    • Beatrice Ryan Designs

Hi Donna.. I have a small picture tutorial with the same stitching in the Mountain Sunset Shawl.. Go take a look

  8. Hi there I am writing you from New Brunswick ???????? Would you kindly send me a written pattern of the border for the poncho? I cannot do it by sight lol

Thank you so much in advance!!!
    Donna

  9. In Row 35 when it reads, 4 dc around 2 tc just made, what does that mean? I am having a hard time visualizing it.

  10. In purple and pink.

  11. Shelley MacDougall

I love this poncho! I’m making mine in Teal, Turquoise, and Grey.

  12. Is a child size pattern available?

  13. Can someone please help? I have made to to row 3, and I don’t understand the shape the poncho is taking. Starting at row 30 with the single crochets then 3 singles on one, etc… the 3 singles part is ending up on an odd position on my poncho.shoukd it be even all the way around and then the 3 singles in one stitch fall on the front and back points? I have read and counted and read some more and done it twice and it makes no sense where those ‘points’ fall. Any advice?

  14. Loved this pattern. I made this poncho for my cousin who simply loves it. Thank you so much.

  15. Rows 1 and 2 worked up correctly. Row 3 I came up with a different stitch count. Are you aware of this issue? Also have all errors been corrected. So many patterns free and paid have errors.

    • The stitch count seems to be correct. 44 V sts- ch3+dc=1,+Vst=2,+(2dc,ch1,2dc)=4,+20Vst=24,+(2dc,ch1,2dc)=26+18Vst=44 Vst total. Pattern seems to be free of errors.

      Row 3:  Sl st between the 2 dc of V st, ch 3, dc in same sp, V st in next V st(between the 2 dc’s), (2dc, ch1,2 dc) in ch1 sp, V st in next 20 V sts, (2 dc, ch1, 2 dc) in ch1 sp, V st in next 18 V sts, join with sl st to top of beginning ch 3. = 44 V sts & 2 ch1 sps
